Vacuum and compressor system specialist Process Vacuum was formed on March 1, 2007.  The company prides itself on its technical ability and offers vacuum and system knowledge across various industries and applications.

The company offers a range of products, including flat-sided and conical liquid ring vacuum pump and compressor systems; chemical dry pump systems; ejector systems; steel degassing systems for the steel industry; and rotary van oil-filled high vacuum pumps, which can all be manufactured according to customer requirements.

Each system is sized and designed by Process Vacuum using Autocad and Inventor software which is based on the customers’ requirements.  Packages are built at the company’s Henley-on-Klip factory and then shipped to site.

Process Vacuum is ISO 9001:2015-certified, ensuring its products comply with stringent specification requirements.  All products and repairs handled by Process Vacuum carry a manufacturing warranty and performance guarantees are issued subject to client requirements.

The company’s product range includes liquid ring vacuum pumps that vary from 10 m3/hr to 54 000 m3/hr at vacua 33 mbar.  These systems are available in cast iron, stainless steel, bronze and internally coated solutions.

The dry vacuum units are available in capacities from 80 m3/hr to 4 200 m3/hr, while the double ended screw dry vacuum pumps are available in capacities up to 1 000 m3/hr.  The rotary vane oil pumps are available up to 300 m3/hr.

The company supplies pumps to a range of industries, including chemicals and petrochemical, medical laboratories, universities, hospitals, paper, packaging and refrigeration industries.

Process Vacuum offers a comprehensive service based on an in-depth knowledge of these industries and applications.  This expertise is demonstrated by a highly focused applications team, as well as a central applications group and a regional network of applications specialists.

Process Vacuum also provides services such as coatings for new and repaired units which require internal coatings.  The units are stripped, shot blasted and pre-machined prior to the coatings application and then machined to ensure drawing requirements are met.

The company repairs port plated and conical liquid ring pumps at its Henly-on-Klip factor where pumps are brought back within drawing requirements. To ensure efficiency.  All repair pumps are performance tested prior to despatch.

Process Vacuum also conducts on site performance testing and vacuum systems surveys to improve the existing vacuum system.
